Cosmo Sheldrake: Nightjar Wake Up Call

This evening, we are really pleased to share something a little different!  It’s an honour to include Cosmo Sheldrake’s ‘Nightar Wake Up Call’ as part of our Nightjar Nights series. Cosmo’s nightjar piece was released earlier this month and perfectly complements the range of creative works we’ve hosted so far.

Note from the Artist

This piece is part of a series of compositions called ‘Wake Up Calls’, made entirely out of recordings of endangered British bird song. ‘Nightjar’ features a cuckoo, a short eared owl, a tawny owl, a marsh warbler, a nightingale, a bittern, a teal and a nightjar.
